Does LiveVault have a standard contract and service level?

Yes we do. Our contracts are designed to protect you and give you peace of mind that you would expect when someone is looking after your valuable business data.


Is there 24x7 support?

Yes. The LiveVault Network Operations Centre is available 24 x 7 to monitor your backups.


Who provides the hardware?

We provide all hardware and software that sits on your network. The administration of the infrastructure is done by qualified LiveVault personnel.


Are there alerts and monitoring?

Yes. There is inbuilt monitoring of services including triggers if services are down and backup status reports.


How do you restore data?

If you need to restore a single file or specific data it's as easy as drag and drop using the web console. If you need to do a total restore of all data to a server a portable Networked Attached Storage device will be transported to your site.


Do we require more storage?

No. LiveVault provides all storage you will need to backup all your critical services.


What happens if communications are broken during a backup?

LiveVault monitors for resumption of communications and recommences from the last known good point once communications are re-established.


What size data is transferred by LiveVault?

LiveVault transfers only changed blocks of data thereby reducing your backup to an average of one percent or less of your total data per day.
